Well. This is the beginning of an art blog that is long past due.
I just quit my day job, to pursue a job with blogging and artwork. This is going to be a bit of a bumpy road as there hasn't been a whole lot of planning. Not planning is something I never really do, so this should prove interesting. I've been doing artwork for years, but just kept it as more of a hobby while working one or several dead end jobs to keep up with bills. Taking this kind of action is a huge step, and I will likely tack on a part-time to keep some semblance of a stable income, but art and blogging are going to be my mainstay incomes. It'll be rough, especially as I'm not used to updating internet things everyday.
...Man am I asking for it. There is definitely a pay-off in the future, as this can become a career very quickly, but it's going to be a rough ride in the mean time.
You can find my artwork on Xenographicstattoo.com, and the site I'm working with at GamerFront.net. Both of these sites are going to see a huge rise in popularity in this next year. Of this I am sure. But, I have to make sure I can keep up things on my end. Rough road.
